For general information regarding the nine undergraduate campuses of the University of California System, please go to www.universityofcalifornia.edu. The freshman application filing period is November 1 - November 30. Only one application is required for all schools; a separate fee is required for each school. Application information is available starting August 1 to start working on the information, even though it will not be submitted prior to the November 1 date. Also, the Personal Statement topic is generally released early to enable students to work and re-work their essay. The application website is www.universityofcalifornia.edu.
The SAT Reasoning Test and/or ACT Test with Writing is required. SAT Subject tests are not required, but recommended, especially for STEM. The last test date acceptable for fall admission to any UC campus is the December test of the student's senior year of high school.
Transcripts are not required with the application; they will be requested after acceptance.
If any information is incomplete or inaccurate on the application, the student's admission to or enrollment in the University may be jeopardized.
