The National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) in Washington, D.C. brings together the future leaders of America, mentoring and enriching our most promising high school students in a hands-on, experiential atmosphere while preparing them for a lifetime of leadership. NYLC gives high-achieving high school sophomores, juniors and seniors a greater understanding of their roles in democracy and the responsibilities of leadership.

Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC), gylc.org
A unique leadership development program that brings together outstanding young people from around the world to build critical leadership skills in a global context.

 This is for current 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.  Students will have the opportunity to develop effective leadership skills while learning more about their communities.  Applications are available in the College and Career Center.

Junior State of America (JSA), www.jsa.org
For freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have a passionate interest in politics and current events. Located on campuses at Georgetown, Princeton, and Stanford. Rigorous curriculum, student debates, exciting speakers programs.  Also a program for qualified students to go to Beijing for 4 weeks.  http://summer.jsa.org.  More informaiton also available in the College and Career Center.
