Concurrent Enrollment

If you want to take a class off-campus and bring credit back to AHS, the form linked below must be completed, submitted, and approved for all classes taken outside LVUSD. The course must be pre-approved before the student enrolls in any off-campus course or we cannot guarantee credit on the AHS transcript. *Please note: It can take up to 2 weeks to receive notification regarding your request / approval. You can find important reminders, as well as forms for both Summer 2024 and the 24-25 School Year (Fall/Spring) below.

Please note a few important reminders regarding Summer Concurrent Enrollment:

  • Concurrent Enrollment registration via an outside institution is the responsibility of the student/family. 

  • Concurrent Enrollment must be pre-approved through our application process. *This is required in order to receive credit on your AHS transcript and/or fulfill graduation requirements 

  • Students may only take 10 credits for advancement per summer

Please note a few important reminders regarding Concurrent Enrollment during the school year:

  • Concurrent Enrollment registration via an outside institution is the responsibility of the student/family. 

  • Concurrent Enrollment must be pre-approved through our application process. *This is required in order to receive credit on your AHS transcript!

  • Concurrent Enrollment during the school year will only be approved for courses NOT offered at AHS.

Outside institutions utilized for Concurrent Enrollment must be UC/A-G approved and WASC Accredited. You can find a list of institutions that have been approved in the past HERE. *note - athletes will need to ensure the institution is also NCAA approved!
