Principal's Message

Dear AHS Community,

Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 school year! I hope your summer was filled with some rest, rejuvenation, and meaningful time with loved ones. As we return to campus, our staff is energized and ready to continue our shared mission of creating a positive school environment that supports every student’s academic achievement, personal growth, and success in all endeavors.

At AHS, we are committed to empowering students to reach their fullest potential as knowledgeable, compassionate, and globally minded citizens prepared for post-secondary success. 

As we begin the year, I want to remind everyone of our new cell phone/smart device policy: “Off and Away”.  All cell phones, earbuds, headphones, smart watches, and communication devices must be turned off and put away during the school day, including during nutrition and lunch. This change is designed to support focus, engagement, and the well-being of all students. We ask for your partnership in reinforcing this policy at home.
