Kimberly Ellis
Anatomy and Physiology

Aeries
Do you know that you can check your child’s grade online at any time?  I keep my class grades on Aeries and try to keep them updated at least once a week.  Here you can stay on top of your child progress in the class and catch any problems before they progress.  If you do not have a username or password you can stop by the counseling office with a photo ID and the registrar can give you both.  You can access the aeries website from the Agoura High School webpage (agoura.mamboschools.com)

Moodle
Our school district has invested in a new online virtual classroom program and I am trying it out for the remainder of the semester.  With this website students can turn in specific assignments online, view a calendar of what is happening in class, look up what they missed when absent, print absent work, or even reprint a homework assignment that they have misplaced.  All of my students were introduced to the website during the first few days of school.  I have now opened the course up to guests so that parents can view what is going on as well.  Here are instructions on how to access the course:
a.    Go to http://moodle.ito.lacoe.edu/las_virgenes_unified/
b.    In the middle of the page there is a course search box type in my last name: Ellis and click search
c.    A course with the name Anatomy and Physiology will come up with my name underneath.
d.    Click on the words Anatomy and Physiology .  DO NOT click on my name (if you do you will be taken to my profile rather then the class)
e.    You may be taken right to the class page or with some browsers you are directed to a login page.  If you are taken to the class page you are free to browse.  If you are taken to the login page click the login as a guest button and you will then be taken to the class page.

Honors Entrance Results
Below you fill find the results for the entrance exam.  The first 33 students who are listed may select honors physiology during course selection.  If you decide against taking this class please let me know ASAP so that I may notify the next student on the list.  Here is how the list is put into order:  1) Those who meet the grade prerequisites and have highest test scores 2) Those who do not meet the grade prerequisites and have highest test scores
