Students learn drafting fundamentals, geometric construction, introduction to computer assisted design and drafting (CAD) in the design/drafting and architectural modules. The CAD drafting content includes CAD hardware and software; commands and functions design applications; symbol libraries and text commands; and layered drawings.

This course aligns with and/or incorporates the State Occupational Content Standards, State Language Arts and Mathematics Standards, High School Exit Exam Standards, Career Performance Standards and the LACOROP Expected School wide Learning Results (ESLRs).
