I believe in lifelong learning, that with knowledge comes responsibility, and that all viewpoints are worthwhile. I believe my task as an educator is to create an environment of mutual respect where students feel challenged by new concepts and perspectives, feel free and confident to explore their own knowledge and ideas, and are provided with opportunities to apply their knowledge in their local and global communities in order to build relationships and effect positive changes.
