Hello and welcome to English I.  Here you will find a variety of resources that will help you to be a successful student throughout the school year.

In addition to attaching most handouts, I will also use the sections below to list homework and important announcements.

Although the homework will be posted on a regular basis, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure that you clearly and accurately write your homework down on a daily basis.

Outside Reading Project

Your first Outside Reading Project is due on January 24, 2012. You MUST submit a copy to TurnItIn.com by 8:30 am. Failure to do so will result in a 0 on the assignment. You also MUST bring a hard copy to class on the 24th.

Please follow the format of a business letter. Use the notes from the mini-lecture to ensure that your format and content is correct. If you have any questions, please see me during Support.

Please see below in order to download a copy of the study guide for the final exam. Definitions and notes will be reviewed in class. If you are absent during the review, please get this information from a friend or from me (during support) so that you are best prepared for the final.
