I graduated from AHS in 1999 and earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from UCLA in 2003.  After working in television as a Production Assistant for Fox Sports Net and a Special Effects Artist on the movie "King Kong," I decided that the best way to combine my love for writing, youth, and sports was to become a teacher/coach.  This is my sixth year of teaching.  I taught one year of English at Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks and I taught for one year at AE Wright Middle School in Calabasas.  Also, I have been coaching basketball as an Assistant Coach or a Head Coach for eleven years.  I am proud to currently serve as the JV Girls Basketball Head Coach here at AHS, my fifth year in the program!  Outside of school, I am an avid Dodgers, Lakers, Raiders, and UCLA Bruins fan.  I love golf, a good BBQ, and watching my favorite TV shows (The Office, House, Parks & Recreation, Community, South Park, Family Guy, Veep, The Newsroom, and Curb Your Enthusiasm).  I look forward to meeting all of you and working with you to achieve your academic goals this year!
