This is my first exciting year teaching at Agoura High School. I am passionate about Contemporary Media and Sculpture. Throughout the year I know the students will learn new skills and develop creating artistic work.
|

This year I am teaching English III, English IIIAP, Film, and Journalism. I love books, writing, films, art deco, antique glass, animals (especially cats), Halloween, summer, the beach, Rice Krispy Treats, and Robert Downey, Jr.!

Welcome to the 2012-2013 Post-Secondary Program at AHS!
My name is Michael Johnson and this is my first year teaching at AHS. In addition to leading the Post-Secondary Program, I serve as an Assistant Coach for the AHS Varsity Boys Basketball Team. I am a proud product of North High School in Torrance, CA. After earning my Bachelors of Arts in Social Science with an emphasis in Secondary Education (Hope International University), I earned my Preliminary Education Specialist Credential at Azusa Pacific University. Previous to teaching at AHS, I taught Special Education for two years at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, CA. When not in the classroom or on the basketball court, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with family. Go Chargers!
