Entering High School is a big transition - and a time, developmentally, to begin taking more responsibility for balancing academics, extra-curricular activity, and a social life.  We want to invite you to attend a Freshman Family Meeting where we will provide a basic roadmap and tools that will put you in the driver's seat.  At this meeting, we will go over resources that are available to yor student so that you and your student can better plan for a successful high school experience. You will also sign on to learn to use NAVIANCE, our career and college planning website.

Attention All Students! Join us tonight in the PAEC to see an expert speak about mental and physical health. Find out how to maximize your test scores and concentration! We encourage students and their parents to come.

Attention Juniors and Seniors! A representative from Josten’s will be here today, October 28th during nutrition and lunch to take Class Ring Orders. Ordering information is available in the AAC now! Or, you can visit www.jostens.com to design your own ring. ORDER DAY SPECIAL! Juniors will receive a FREE 2016 T-shirt and key ring with every order, and $20 off every ring with an internet form. Seniors will get $30 off every ring and a 2015 companion ring with an internet order form (excludes “P” rings).

Dancing with the Star Chargers This Thursday, October 30th at 7:00 pm in the AHS Gym, come see your favorite teachers and students battle it out for the mirror ball trophy in the Dance Team’s annual Dancing with the Star Chargers. You don’t want to miss this! Tickets will be sold at the door - $10 for adults and $5 for students…we hope to see you there!

In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month there will be a sale of cookies, candy, and brownies today, October 28th, after school in the half circle outside of the Main Office. Prices range from $2.00 - $5.00 and all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Attention Chargers! Wear red today, October 28th for Red Ribbon week and earn 10 spirit points.

Halloween Grams: AHS Journalism will be selling grams for Halloween in the Main Quad during nutrition and lunch through Wednesday, Oct. 29th.   Buy them for $1 and send them to all of you friends! They will be delivered during first period on Thursday, Oct. 30th.

Blood Drive this Wednesday, October 29th: If you are a 16 years old and plan to donate blood at the drive, you must turn in your parent consent form to room K-4 before the 29th.  

Do You Have Family That Went to Agoura in the Past? If so, email [email protected] their names and a current photo so you can be featured in the yearbook.  

Attention Seniors! Senior Quotes and surveys are here! Please print out the form either from the ASB website or the AHS Class of 2015 Facebook page! Turn them into room C-6 at support on November 12th, 13th or 14th. If you have any questions, please ask Hannah Levin.

Reflections Contest:Attention aspiring writers, artists, choreographers, filmmakers, composers and photographers, the Reflections national competition is for you! Artistically demonstrate how "The world would be a better place if..." through writing, art, dance, film, music, and or photography and win!  Reflections entries can be turned into the main office with the AHS entry form (see AHS website) by 9:00 am Nov. 3rd (Monday).  Any questions contact Laura Leininger [email protected] or Reflections Club president Sophia Gerberich [email protected]. The Media Center/Library aims to provide a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere for our students. The Media Center offers computer and printing needs as well as time to catch up on research, reading, homework and a space for tutoring. The Media Center is open from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Do you Need Help in English? English Honor Society has tutors in room K-9 every day during Support Period. Come get help with essays, grammar, and anything else English related.

Numbers got you Down? Need help with math? If so, come to room M-10 for free, one-on-one tutoring by our amazing math tutors. Math Tutoring is open during support, lunch and 6th period.

Free Foreign Language Tutoring every day at Support Period in room M-9.


Girls Soccer Tryouts will be Wednesday, November 12th through Friday, November 14th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the stadium. As a reminder, you must be cleared through the AAC prior to participating in tryouts.
