AHS Theatre III Presents PDF Print E-mail
"David and Lisa" by James Reach.  It tells the fascinating story of two mentally disturbed adolescents: David, who is tortured by his mania against being touched, and Lisa the waif with a split personality  The play follows their exhilarating progress and heartrending defeats during their time in an institution.

Directed by Elizabeth Brasler, Produced by the students of Theartre III.  May 26 and 27 at 7pm is the PAEC Blackbox.  $10 for students, $8 w/ ASB, $12 for adults.  **this show may not be suitable for younng children.  Parental discretion is advised.**

The AHS Music department presents Broadway Night 2015, an annual concert celebrating the music of Broadway and beyond featuring the students, alumni and teachers of Agoura High School.  Broadway Night 2015 will benefit the Aiding Hearts Foundation and the Painted Turtle, which provides camp for kids with serious illnesses and diseases. 

In honor of AHS' late teacher Deborah Frank.  Thursday, May 28th at 7pm at the PAEC main stage theater.  Tickets are $10 general admission available at the paces.org.

Attention all Sophomores taking AP US History next year: There will be a short, but mandatory summer assignment info meeting TODAY, May 27th at lunch in room D-8. See you there!

International Baccalaureate Psychology Students: Please attend a meeting on Thursday, May 28th at lunch in room K-1 to get information about the summer reading assignment.

There will be a Mandatory Meeting for all students signed up to take AP Physics next year on Thursday, May 28TH, at lunch in room A-1.

Attention all Incoming 11th grade IB Diploma Program Students: There is a mandatory meeting for all students pursuing the IB Diploma next year on Thursday, May 28th at lunch in room D-4 with IB Program Coordinator Mrs. McClellan.  We will be discussing important information regarding your induction into the program.  See you there!

Do you like to write and help others? Maybe you should join the English Honor Society next year! Come to an interest meeting at lunch, Thursday, May 28th in Room K9.

Finals Review is Back! Link Crew and your teachers are here to help you review for your second semester finals on Tuesday, June 2nd from 3:00- 4:30pm. Check in at room N-8 for room locations. See Mrs. Baldecchi in room N-8 with questions.

Attention Students: If you have changed your address since the beginning of the school year, please be sure to contact our Registrar with you updated information at jberke@lvusd.org. An incorrect mailing address may cause a delay in your ability to register for classes in August.  


Message from the Media Center:

·         All library materials (library books and calculators) are due by Friday, May 29th.

·         Beginning Monday, June 1st, the Media Center will open for returning items, paying fines and during Support for quiet study.

·         Textbooks for all students grades 9 – 11 must be returned on the day of each final and the latest by Wednesday, June 10th at 2:00 pm. If you are attending summer school new textbooks will be issued.

·         Fines and textbooks will not be collected during the summer, so it is imperative that students return all items by the deadline in order to go through registration in the fall. The Media Center will re-open in August.

·         Seniors, all textbooks, and library obligations must be cleared by Friday, June 5th at 3:00pm in order to participate in any senior activities.

·         Please note that yearbooks, senior activities, cap and gowns, diplomas, transcripts and schedules for the fall semester will be held from students who have any outstanding library obligations or discipline hours.


Attention Chargers! TODAY, the class of 2016 is hosting the LAST Junior Java of the year! Be sure to pick up a nice cool lemonade or iced coffee. It’s only $3. Let’s go out with a bang.

“Class Action”The AHS Theater department and Mrs. Brasler’s Theater II Class present CLASS ACTION, a clever, inventive play about high school, its ups and its downs and the most important thing we learn about in grades 9 – 12: ourselves. The play is Friday, May 29th at 7:00pm in the Black Box Theater at the PAEC. The suggested donation is $5 at the door.

Sorry guys…the themes you saw last week are NOT the real themes we are voting on for next year’s Homecoming. School is almost out and it’s time to get excited for next year. Come to the Main Quad at nutrition on June 3rd to vote for next year’s Homecoming theme. Make sure to bring your ID to vote! Themes are:   Jungle Safari, Agoura in the Amazon, Agoura on the Nile, and The

Ancient Agoura of Athens.


Agoura High School Athletic Physicals and Clearances for the 2015-16 school year will be held at Exer Urgent Care in Calabasas this Saturday, May 30th.   The cost is $40 per exam and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Agoura High School Athletic Department.  All athletes are required to obtain clearance for the 2015 – 16 school year this Saturday, whether they get their physical from Exer or from their own provider. Please see the attached flier for detailed information.

Girls Basketball Tryouts are on Monday, June 15th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Make sure you go to Exer to get your clearance to be able to try out. Any questions please go to the AAC.


Graduation Tickets:  If you wish to purchase additional tickets, you may do so on the webstore or at the AAC through this Friday, May 29th. Tickets are $10 each.

Final Transcripts: You may order your final transcripts the Counseling Office through June 5. The fee is $5 and may be paid by cash or check, payable at the time of the request.


The Goebel Adult community Center in Thousand Oaks is looking for volunteers on Wednesday, May 27th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at their 22nd Annual National Senior Health and Fitness Day – a Senior/Teen Prom. Interested students should call 805-381-2744

Relay for Life Agoura is having their event on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Willow     Elementary School from 9:00am – 9:00pm. Help is needed in planning the event or helping out on the day of the event. Please sign up.

Attention all students: Still need service learning hours???? The Agoura Performing Arts Center needs volunteers for this Thursday, May 28th.  Please go to VolunteerSpot on the front page of the Agoura website to sign up.

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors: Service Learning hours are due by June 1 in room C-1. Remember that you need a supervisor’s signature AND a reflection for each Service Learning Log you turn in. If you have any questions, stop by room C-1.

Register for Summer School School 2015!  Summer School online registration opens on Monday, April13. 

Through Summer School, students can:
  • Enhance high school transcripts with additinal courses for college applications.
  • Take a required core course during the summer and open up their schedules for additional electives during the regualr school year.
  • Retake a class to replace a D or F grade.
We offer  courses in Social Studies, Science, English, Math, Foreign Language, Health and Dance (meets PE requirement).

Online registration for students currently enrolled in grades eight through twelve is available from April 13, through May 22, at www.knowledgecounts.net.
