Welcome
The Agoura High School Gay/Straight Alliance exists:
- to inform, discuss,
and increase awareness about all sexual orientations
- to promote
tolerance
- to contribute to the AHS community
- to provide safe
social situations for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered
students.
The AHSGSA is affiliated with:
- Gay/Straight Alliance Network (GSAN)
- Gay/Lesbian/Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
Membership is not limited; members must be:
gay or straight or bisexual or transgendered or
questioning
or
friends and allies of those who are gay or straight or bisexual or
transgendered.
Meetings are held every Wednesday at lunch in R4. So far
participation at club meetings averages 30 students.
